The Bharatiya Janata Party and the Janata Dal (Secular) will have an “understanding” in Karnataka for the 2024 Lok Sabha election, ex-Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa was quoted by news agency PTI on Friday morning. The BJP was in power in the southern state till the May Assembly polls in which the Congress stormed to a surprising and dominant win, claiming 135 seats in the 224-member house.
